In a unique move Tokelau requested all regional and international organizations that it is affiliated to either through full membership, associate or by accessing through regional international projects, to visit and consult Tokelau as a "body corporate" or all at once. The intention is to assist a small tiny country in managing all the possible assistance available from these organizations so that the actual assistance itself could be much more effective in their delivery and avoid duplication.

The apparent changes in production for the three years sometimes represents real change in production, but it can also reflect a change in the methodology for how the production is measured (hopefully an improvement). In table above, the production levels for coastal commercial, coastal subsistence, and freshwater change significantly between the years, but some of that change is due to the way in which the production was estimated. For example, for the 2014 estimate of coastal fisheries production, the results of
the 2010 HIES were available.

As a developing country, Tuvalu is listed under Article 5 of the Montreal Protocol, and therefore provided with assistance to phase-out consumption of CFCs by 2010, HCFCs by 2030, and HFCs by 2024. According to Tuvalu’s 2010 National Compliance Action Strategy (NCAS) to implement the Montreal Protocol, only two types of ODS are known to have been imported into Tuvalu – CFCs and HCFCs, both in very small quantities. All consumption of these substances is through the refrigeration and air conditioning service sector (Government of Tuvalu 2010).

REPORT 1: PROGRESS ACHIEVED TOWARDS THE OBJECTIVES OF THE ACTION STRATEGY DURING THE PAST FIVE YEARS
It is a 35 paged Evaluation Report on the 7th Pacific Islands Conference on Nature Conservation and Protected Areas event. This evaluation is the result of a questionnaire (Annex 5) handed out at the end of the conference with a 15.3% return rate (47 conference evaluations). The report's structure will be a planning tool for future conferences to measure and assess what worked and what didn’t work at the 7th Conference
A 34 paged report on the 11th Meeting of the Pacific Islands Roundtable for Nature Conservation held in Suva and hosted by IUCN, Pacific Council of Churches, WWF, SPREP, USP and FSPI. It reports the decisions made by the Roundtable on the following issues:
1. The Roundtable Charter (and 8 organisations signed the charter) (see annex 1)
2. The need for a Roundtable Officer to be based at IUCN in Fiji to support the Chair and support the work of the Roundtable. Roundtable organizations agreed to see whether they had resources to support this.
